This is an organic, broad-spectrum insecticide that works in many ways to control your pest problems. It is a proven natural anti-feedant, insect growth regulator, anti-ovipository and repellant as well as a toxin to soft bodied insect larvae. Insects will feed less or not at all on treated plant tissue. Foliage is not damaged and insects ultimately starve to death. Insects will fail to mature and reproduce. An application of Azatrol does not provide the quick knock down of chemical contact poisons. Use as preventative or reactive treatment.

Doktor Doom® Spider Mite Knock Out® is a .20% pyrethrin formula. This formula is 19 times stronger in active ingredient pyrethrin than any soap based insecticides and 10 times stronger than any formulations that contain pyrethrin & piperoynl Butoxide. Piperoynl Butoxide is a synergist which enhances the killing power of pyrethrin and it is not approved for organic gardening. Pyrethrin is approved for organic gardening with some restrictions - refer to OMRI (Organic Material Review Institute), for more information.

Unlike soap based products which need to be applied liberally to the plant in order to drown the insects, Doktor Doom® Spider Mite Knock Out® kills the pests on contact with just a light misting on the foliage.

How Soaps and Oils Work...

Mosquito Dunks® are formulated to release effective levels levels of BTI for a period of 30 days or more under typical environmental conditions. The floating action of the dunks will ensure that active material is released at the surface as well as gradually settle to the bottom.

These dunks may be used in all types of containerized mosquito breeding areas. To prevent dunks from being flushed out of certain treatment sites, they can be anchored using a string tied through the hole in the center or staked in place.

Mosquito Dunks® can also be applied to dry areas which are known or suspected to become breeding sites when flooded, such as abandoned swimming pools, the dunks will float to the surface when flooding occurs and start releasing the active BTI material.
